Noah, a 3 yr old black lab, is a level two SDNE dog and is MASSARDF certified to be called out for searches by the MA State police. While certified as an air scenting wilderness dog, Noah has also had training in specific-scent trailing, cadaver and water at seminars in MA, ME, NH, RI, CT, NC and Canada. We will continue to build his skills in these areas. Noah is a Canine Good citizen. As a certified therapy dog, he made over 20 visits to retirement homes in 2002. Judy and Noah have been with SDNE for 3 ½ years. Judy has taken courses in Fundamentals of Search and Rescue, Management of Lost Person Incidents, 1st Responder, CPR, Canine First Aid, tracking, crime scene preservation, POD, and navigation. She has attended numerous seminars in canine behavior and search and rescue.
