Search Dogs Northeast is comprised entirely of volunteers and does not receive any state or federal aid or funding. All expenses associated with training the dogs and their handlers to be ready for any search  scenario are paid by the volunteers of SDNE, and those expenses can be quite overwhelming. We work closely with local police departments in missing persons searches, and we work with the community to train and educate people through seminars, demonstrations, children's and other programs.

Financial Support

    Financial donations are always welcome.  Your financial support will offset costs for search deployments, equipment, supplies, travel, training and education.

    Search Dogs Northeast is a non-profit corporation with 501c3 status. This means that all donations made to SDNE are fully tax deductible.

Training Locations

    Providing diverse training areas and facilities are important to our search dogs’ proper development.   If you have a place we could borrow for training, please contact us.  Example locations include: industrial parks, manufacturing buildings & plants, warehouses, shopping centers, vacant buildings, parks, camp grounds, farms, other vacant land, ponds, lakes, river front property, etc.
